There’s a time when it all comes together—what you long for and what you fear—and as tentative as you may feel, you’re driven to continue. At that point, the need to forge ahead is the only option, and your direction is defined despite yourself.

Finally had a chance to head south and hang with some buddies at BriarWorks in Columbia, Tennessee.

BriarWorks is a full production, American made pipe factory originally located in Nashville, founded by pipe makers Todd Johnson and Pete Prevost.

What a rad space…

Small Batch Flags

Ever since we connected with Brett of BC Burnings, we've been itching to do a collaboration with him on some small batch, handcrafted flags.

Made from the finest 7 oz. duck cotton fabric, these custom flags have been individually hand-cut to 28" x 45", coffee-dyed for 24 hours, hand-painted, and hand-finished with sewn edges by Brett himself. Each flag is unique and 100% Made in America.

We're super pumped to release three designs in limited quantity.

The Hat

We'll be honest with you...

Making hats in America isn't easy. It's actually quite tough. But we're committed to sourcing and producing only 100% American Made goods, so we set out to find a way.

We found our textile in Fenton, Missouri, and partnered with a small group of artisans in Pomona, California to craft in limited quantity the only hat befitting of our Front Lines Collection.

Introducing, the Freedom From Fear Hat...

100% American Made

Army Duck 100% Cotton, 10.10oz TexWax™ Olive waxed canvas
Vintage military, 5 panel deconstructed fit
Freedom From Fear circle patch
Interior black twill bias tape
Adjustable plastic snap closure

They say the devil is in the details.

If you look close, you'll notice the intricacies and imperfections that come with hand-lettering and hand-illustrating every facet of our designs. It's what we've committed to since founding the brand. It takes more time and effort, to be sure. It doesn't make "business sense", if you will. But we think, in an age of mass production, that you deserve a product that is truly handcrafted from concept to completion.

It's not the devil.

The divine is in the details.

Front Lines

For our Fall '16 Collection, we wanted to honor the perilous times of the Second World War, and the perseverance shown by the Allied Forces and their countrymen on the front lines and back home.

A mash of WWII imagery, slogans, and Allied propaganda poster art come together to serve as the inspiration for this handcrafted, 100% American-made collection of designs.

We're certain you'll enjoy wearing what we've enjoyed creating.

Welcome to the Front Lines.

"You ask, what is our aim? I can answer in one word. It is victory. Victory at all costs. Victory in spite of all terrors. Victory, however long and hard the road may be, for without victory there is no survival." —Prime Minister Winston Churchill

"We have known the bitterness of defeat and the exultation of triumph, and from both we have learned there can be no turning back. We must go forward to preserve in peace what we won in war." —General Douglas MacArthur (Sept. 1945)

Paratroopers were first used on a large scale during World War II for troop distribution and transportation. They were often used on the most forward front lines of battle, deployed to seize strategic objectives such as airfields or bridges.

"United in this determination and with unshakable faith in the cause for which we fight, we will, with God's help, go forward to our greatest victory." —General Dwight D. Eisenhower

"Today we may say aloud before an awe-struck world: 'We are still masters of our fate. We are still captain of our souls.'" —Prime Minister Winston Churchill

The Harley Davison WLA was a military model produced from 1942 to 1945 in support of WWII. These motorcycles improved mechanized forces on the front lines by providing faster travel of reconnaissance elements and messenger units. The "WLA" designation was unique; the "W" stood for the 45 cubic inch side valve engine designed in 1937; the "L" stood for the model's high compression; and the "A" signified the customer—the U.S. Army.

"There is one front and one battle where everyone in the United States—every man, woman, and child—is in action, and will be privileged to remain in action throughout this war. That front is right here at home, in our daily lives, and in our daily tasks." —President Franklin D. Roosevelt

Snake Bite

In our latest collaborative effort, we're super pumped to announce the Efficacy Snake Bite bottle opener and can venting tool. This beautiful little tool is 100% American sourced and assembled, and 100% necessary.

The Snake Bite is a patented keychain bottle opener sheathed in 6oz vegetable tanned leather. This 302 stainless steel tool not only easily opens bottles it also vents the back of aluminum cans for an amazing pour every time. Holding it all together are military grade kydex holster rivets and hard drawn nickel plated steel split rings.

Here's how it works:

And we've got it in 3 colors.

When we first connected with Salemtown Board Co. about working on a collaboration, we were stoked on their product and enamored with their handcrafted process. And once we found out about their purpose, it was settled that we had to work together.
